Those slightly imperfect tomatoes, excess squash, oversupply of potatoes, beets and other hearty vegetables make excellent soups, stews and irresistibly nourishing meals. Not only do we make exceptional food, Goodly™ is not your average food company, right down to its core. Founded in 2018, with the help of a few very supportive partners, we’re a unique social enterprise that employs workers with barriers to traditional employment, helping them earn a living wage making and delivering healthy meals they can be proud of. All while learning valuable new skills along the way.
Making healthy food that helps employ marginalized people and helps reduce food waste all adds up to a whole lot of good. Literally. To give you a quick example, with every 1000 litres of Goodly Hearty Tomato Soup we make, we generate over 100 employment hours and repurpose up to 1000 kilograms of produce, averting over 450 kilograms of CO2 emissions. How good is that? And we’re only getting started. The more support we have, the more good we can do, in our community and beyond.
