Jonathan Altafulla Perez

With over a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical industries of Venezuela and Colombia, Jonathan Altafulla Perez is a seasoned Quality Assurance Technician and Production Supervisor. His background includes pivotal roles at Novartis, GSK, and Abbott, where he managed quality operations and led significant projects such as the successful EU-GMP certification of Colombia’s first pharmaceutical company to produce medicinal cannabis.

Jonathan holds a PhD in Chemistry from Université des Sciences et Technologies de Lille, France, and is pursuing a Micro-certificate in Food Safety Management at UBC-BCIT. At Goodly Foods, he applies his deep expertise to enhance food safety and quality, aligning his work with the company’s mission to support community and sustainability.

Outside the office, Jonathan is dedicated to his family and enjoys reading, music, and the beach. He brings a quality-focused approach to every aspect of life—even in the kitchen, much to his wife’s amusement.
