A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO
Last Monday, one of our indigenous Goodly team members, shared the sad news that one of his relatives was shot and killed by BC RCMP after an interaction near Tofino, BC last weekend.
Like so many people in this country, we are saddened by the needless loss of life of any human being. Our thoughts and sympathies are with Dan, his family and relatives in these times of grief and sorrow.
At Goodly Foods, we are committed to providing a safe and respectful workspace. We give people facing barriers to traditional employment an opportunity to grow and shine, in an environment where we discover together in harmony, respect and dignity.
This is a difficult time, a time in which we learn more and more about histories that shaped our country and society as we face it today. At Goodly, we will not ignore the past. Learning from it will make us all better people, create a better society, and hopefully results in a world where we live together in peace, respect and mutual understanding.
